Ha dedicado gran parte de su vida a investigar c\u00f3mo aflorar el potencial humano, especialmente en momentos de desaf\u00edo, incertidumbre y cambio.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>El mindufulness es una pr\u00e1ctica para comprender en\nprofundidad la importancia que tiene estar atentos a lo que est\u00e1 ocurriendo\naqu\u00ed y ahora. Es un abrir los ojos para ver lo que normalmente no vemos. Es un\nentrenamiento para ser due\u00f1os de nuestra atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestra mente condicionada no para de fabricar pensamientos\nporque es lo que sabe hacer. La pr\u00e1ctica del mindfulness lo que hace no es\nevitar que se generen dichos pensamientos, sino evitar que dichos pensamientos\nnos arrastren al pasado o nos proyecten al futuro con todo el componente\nafectivo que esto conlleva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Si estas deprimido es porque vives en el PASADO. Si est\u00e1s lleno de ansiedad es porque vives en el FUTURO. Si estas en paz es que vives en el PRESENTE.<\/p><cite>Lao-Tse<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema cuando el mundo mental mete tanto ruido es que inhibe directamente y de una forma demoledora la corteza prefrontal, la parte anterior del cerebro que es la m\u00e1s importante para que t\u00fa funciones bien en la vida y resuelvas los desaf\u00edos a los que te enfrentas, tu capacidad negociar, tu capacidad de ser creativo, de tomar buenas decisiones, de aprender deprisa, de adaptarte a nuevas desaf\u00edos y exigencias depende de que tengas una corteza prefrontal que funcione bien, pero si tu nivel de presi\u00f3n es excesiva por este ruido mental generado por la mente, entonces t\u00fa no funcionar\u00e1s bien. Por eso es importante parar el ruido mental, ya que cuando empiezas a reducir el ruido mental empiezas a ver en lo mundano lo extraordinario. La mayor parte de las veces, el ruido mental se refleja en la p\u00e9rdida de atenci\u00f3n y es una de las causas de tensi\u00f3n interior. La pr\u00e1ctica de mindfulness empieza a cambiar todo ello hasta el punto de que modifica la estructura del cerebro y mejora la memoria y el control del miedo.
